Mommas Got a New Hat....;)

So if ever there was a need for a shout out..it is now.

Trust Me.

I am not a girly girl. I do not have little girls that I can put bows on, paint nails or wear tights. I mean I guess I COULD do that to my boys

(and I am not saying that I have not put them in a dress once or twice..just to see what they would look like)

I digress.
But Today...Today, I BECAME a girly girl!!!

One of my friends Susie is a MAJOR talent in the knitting department.

I mean one day this girl is randomly knitting at the gym and all of a sudden she has a full blown business with some of the MOST adorable models to boot.
Because I have boys I don't get to experience those adorable fabric bows on her knitted hats and its not that I am jealous of all of you with girls (OK OK..so I am but...)

ITS MY TURN.
I want a fun accessory...Not a purse, or a watch..I want something with personality...

LIKE ME!!!!

So, one day in passing, I say. I really want a blue hat. One that matches my eyes.

Susie says let me search. Um, folks she did NOT just search. Instead, she found the color that I wanted and then HAND DYED the YARN...

What? Did I mention this could be ♥LOVE♥. It is like my very own personal knitter (Wait...back up..she does not know that...SHHHH)!

My hat is PERFECT!!!!!

So...without further ado.....MY HAT!!!!

Oh the color just makes your eyes "pop". Love it. And I'm not a girly girl either. In fact I got a hat yesterday too, but mine was a John Deere hat that I got at Tractor Supply. LOL. But hey, it was PINK!
Hugs.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful! I am trying to decide if the hat makes your eyes more blue, or if your eyes make the hat more blue.

Lookin' stylin'!

Dudette, your hat is awesome. I don't see why with the right colors they couldn't be turned into boys hats. Gosh I was actually expecting purple and gold, whew.

That is an awesome picture! Not a girly-girl, my foot! You totally look like one to me ;0) It's hard to be girly with a house full of boys, isn't it? It's fun sometimes though. Gorgeous Darling...Absolutely Gorgeous!!

I saw your comment on Nan's blog for yesterday. You said she is a good parent & you are so right. You should meet her 2 boys. They are very nice young men. The youngest is my son's friend. He is so good about keeping my son from possibly crossing a line he shouldn't just because it's wrong, not because he could get caught. Her boys are both also good actors. They know the Word of God because of the way they were raised. Nan may not toot her own horn so I will. She's taught me so much.
Going back to read your blog now.Bye

OMGoosh!!! Tarah, you look beautiful!! Very girly girly. The color is AMAZING, just like your eyes. Boy, do I need to get back into knitting. I've never made a hat before though. Hopefully, ONE DAY, I'll have a little girl of my own. I would really be in trouble then. I might actually have to go back to work just so that I can afford all that frou frou.
