Kindergarten Thanksgiving

My baby (yes, the one that is in kindergarten) has had quite a week!
We started out with Parent Teacher conferences and ended with the
Thanksgiving Feast!

I remember those special days at school and looking back on them, it was soo cool to see my parents come to support me in everything that I did
(even if that everything meant a plate full of chips, carrots and olives) !

The kindergartners this year seem to be so energetic, like they have known each other for years. So fun to see them all shuffle in and load up a plate of goodies, give thanks for everything and then off to Music class to sing!

We had a great time with receiver.
We are so proud of the good student he is as well as the behavior that he has at school
(we can't always condone his behavior at home).

Your moving up big fella and Mom and Dad plan to be there every step of the way!

That's so cute! I love their feast idea.

I'm with you....they always behave at school yet some home and they can be the devil. Jacob does the same thing....I think I'm going to start their reward system at home.

Glad you both got to go to the school and be with receiver, he must have been so proud of himself :)

How fun. I used to love these events in school too - the Thanksgiving feast was always my favorite since we got to make hats and handprint turkeys too!!

That's cute. I LOVE the little parties they throw at school now days. My boys always get so excited to have me there, and I treasure that, because I know it won't last. I don't think it will be the same when they reach middle school & high school.

Thanksgiving feast in school is something I really miss alot. My kids have all been out of the ages of doing that for awhile. But Jacob will be in school in a few years and I can enjoy that with him again. :)

as a 1st grade teacher, I so appreciate the parents who take all those things seriously..coming to every little thing we do at school. It shows your children that they are important to you. More important than anything else. And that is the one thing they need to learn, more than academics!!

That is so awesome! I love it! Kaishon's school didn't have a Thankgsgiving celebration this year and that makes me sad. Thanksgiving is one of the GREATEST things to celebrate!
