Ahh Hem..Not ME Monday..It was not me,I swear!

Here we go again with another fantastic installment of the "NOT ME" Monday...I know that the whole group of us is used to the drill, but just in case you are not, you need to visit MckMama to get the entire list of participants....here I go:

1. I did NOT receive a package on my front porch on Tuesday and decide wonder how long it could sit there before someone else grabs it...NOT ME...PS, it sat for 2 days til my hubby finally brought it in.

2. I was not the one who went to Trader Joes and spent $47 on basically chocolate. I wish I was kidding on this but could someone please tell me what ANGEL created the Dark Chocolate Caramels...INSANE!!!! Nope...NOT ME!

3. It was not me who "accidentally" went to a McDonald's drive thru the wrong way...I mean what kind of mom, parent, person in general does NOT know the right way through the drive thru?????I should not be allowed to drive a vehicle some days....but um, that was NOT ME!

4. Again with the fact that I DID NOT place an open Diet Coke on my dashboard of my car, then decided to gun it out of a parking lot...PS, there is something really great smelling about Diet Coke 48 hours after it has been thrown about your car at 30 mph....Nevermind...NOT ME!

5. It could NOT have been me who misplaced 20 or so library books...I mean honestly. Why do I even go there? My kids take tons of books, never keep track then I spend a whole week putting them in a pile only to find out that I am still missing 7-8-15...WHAT...that could not be me~!

6. Last but not least...We did not eat out 5 times last week...that is SOOO irresponsible and goes against the PLAN . That is lazy and repulsive! Oh but wait...that was NOT ME!!!!

Tardy Award Blogging....

So my lovely friend Joan, over at More God = Less Me sent me this lovely award on Thursday and can you believe that I neglected to say Thank you? I mean seriously Tarah, how hard can that be to appreciate your bloggy friends and post a couple of nuggets about it.... so, I am breaking away from the standard rules since I am tardy. I am saying what I love about Joan and her blog.....

1. She pulled my name out of the hat for her 100th post and sent me a sweet CD from DOWNHERE that I have been jammin to ever since! Kids are rocking and so is hubby =)

2. She does a really cool Scripture Picture that is a great idea!

Sunday Sermon...

Today, I am putting a couple of things in perspective. Erik and I are always trying to teach our kids that we have a really blessed life so, I found this top 11 list and it really hit home.

11 Reasons that you are RICH:

You didn’t go to sleep hungry last night.
You didn’t go to sleep outside.
You had a choice of what clothes to wear this morning.
You hardly broke a sweat today. (Well maybe not me...if you know anything about my armpits).
You didn’t spend a minute in fear.
You have access to clean drinking water.
You have access to medical care.
You have access to the Internet.
You can read.
You have the right to vote.

You have the right to choose which church or religion you are a part of.

Well my good friend Debra has tagged me, and in response to this tagging, I am required to tell you 15 random things about myself. So, as this is every bloggers dream, I am going to selfishly indulge in things that just may bore you to death...but here I go:

15. I have a knack for things, now this does not mean that I am good at everything (just ask my hubby) but one of my blessings is that I pick up on things quickly.

14. I love the smell of my children's necks...that may seem weird but they smell so sweet and I just love to give um a good sniff...(if you stop following my blog I will understand..=)

13. I am horrible at math. Really bad..like I need a calculator on my cell phone bad...

12. My husband and I joke more frequently than we are serious...it is how we both deal !!!

11. I could really use a good eyebrow wax right now....little out of control.

10. I never attended college. 2 days in Nursing school and I bolted. Afraid, I would mess up the math!!!

9. I have a horrible "Jelly Bean Dress" picture... I will have to tell you more about that later!

8. I am on the yearbook committee at school and that was my first publish photography work!

7. I would really like a Tummy Tuck someday. Seriously, if any of you are surgeons...contact me.

6. I am doing the AWAKEN study at church and I have read my Bible for every day and I am on day 27.

5. I secretly want to be a recording artist. I have written about 15 songs but, I am not sure where to begin with that.

4. I am obsessed with the Cricut machine. It is amazing and I scrapbook, label and just do plainsilly stuff on it!

3. I have never had a regular cleaning lady. I would really like one, but I am too picky.

2. I love to experiment in the kitchen, with all kinds of recipes. I also doctor almost everything.

1. I love Jesus, and all the relationships via blogging that he has given me. My faith has grown immensely.
