Garage Lockers

Project Post:

Since I barely ever blog anymore, I thought I should post a little something on "What" I do with my spare time these days!

I tackled a Garage Locker project this weekend as I'm not able to move my laundry room upstairs as I was hoping to. I mentioned to hubs that we could do it rather inexpensively on our own and once I had the green light, here is the breakdown of cost:

(1) Already Purchased Set of Lockers = $130
(2) Target 3 Shelf Book cases $16 each = $32
(2) Hooks from Lowes Clearanced @ $8 each = $16
(4) Fabric Cubbies (bought at thrift new in package) $6
(1) Can of Mis-Tint Shermin Williams Paint = $1.06
(2) Upper Fabric Baskets =$12.99

Grand Total = $198.05
An afternoon of work has payed off! All of the coats and hats are out of my laundry room and I am feeling much lighter!

Good Luck at tackling a project of your own!

FREE Holiday Shutterfly Promotions!!!

Call me crazy, but I seem to only blog for amazingly awesome deals at this point!!! And of course, I want to past the awesome deals on to my "network" of bloggers!!

Remember the days of the daily post? Man, I really miss those days.

I miss all the comments, all the on-line comrodery, banter back and forth about our children, church and cooking!!! ;)

With so much on our to-do lists and no one figuring out how to clone humans just yet {I kid}.. I need a little help in the  Christmas Card department ;)

My go to source for all things Holiday? {I never thought you would ask}...
SHUTTERFLY of course ;)

I'm just in LOVE with some of the designs this year and the ease of the site. I am totally placing several orders for Photo Books this year. My sister in law's wedding book that I have promised, a digital scrapbook for the boys, and for-sure a Nanna and Poppi book!

Let me just put it this way..Shutterfly is getting most of my disposable income this holiday season!!! ;)

Yes, we are alive!

Seriously..Christmas. That was the last time I blogged :(
Well, lots has been going on with our clan. New job for me (well almost a year ago) and that means that I have much less time to blog and catch up with all you ladies out there.

I miss everyone and hope that you are all doing well.

365 {305-324}

Will I sign up for 365 again? Um, perhaps I am not the best example of what a 365 is all about. I have been taking pictures left and right, however I just can't seem to find the time to download them, let alone blog them.

I am feeling much like QB did when he received an "F" on one of his math exams....
You won't find me saying much but I am doing my best to not feel so stressed out about being behind....

Once again, thanks for being along for the ride...

365/310-315

I family that is in our small group at Church asked me if I could take a few shots for their Christmas Card. I was happy to do so, although, I have to say that I am totally an OUTDOOR photographer. It is were I am most comfortable. I was able to get enough shots for their card ;)
This is the logo that I have been playing around with. I like simple designs and my nick name is T Fenn so it makes sense to me....any feedback? I will take good and bad...

Guess who is playing Basketball AND Hockey...does that kid even take a collarbone injury seriously? Nope. Dr said, I think Basketball is fine and Hockey would be a no-go but your parents can decide that. If they want you in Goalie gear than I am OK with it... HA! No slowing him down..;)

This is my Christmas Card this year... if you are not on the mailing list, consider this our Seasons Greetings!

18" and counting.....WHY DO I LIVE HERE?

Why is this photo soo grainy. I am annoyed. Not at the editing but just by the pure crapiness of it all ;)
PS...my tree is all leany this year so I have dubbed it the "WHOVILLE TREE"...

Getting caught up!

Shutterfly's Sensational Season...

What is one of the most stressful things for a mom, blogger, photographer, and anyone in between? Of course I am talking about the ever growing Christmas Card obsession! When do you start obsessing? I begin the second that all my cards have successfully made it into the mailbox for the current season! My mind is racing throughout the year, is THIS a photo that will make it into my next card? Will my creativity be outmatched by my best friend or neighbor? Perhaps...we are all searching for something PERFECT that depicts our families and the best messaging for the season.

Enter, SHUTTERFLY. Are they geniuses? In my opinion Y-E-S! I love companies who see a growing need for creativity and just reach out and grab it! Shutterfly has done just that with their Holiday lines this year.

Take for instance the Photo Christmas Cards, you would be downright silly not to find something to love, treasure and adore!

I have been big fan of the Personalized Mugs in previous years, for Grandma and Grandpa. To which they still murmur about what a great gift that is..(PS..thanks Shutterfly)!

Now, if you are an overachiever like most of my friends, you may have your Christmas and Holiday cards already done (and to you I say....whatever;) BUT you have not sent out those invitations for your Holiday Swaree...you can accomplish this in just minutes with all of the adorable options.

What will I do with my Shutterfly Christmas Cards this year?

Well.. since it is 2010...I am doing a FENN TOP 10 for 2010....Be on the lookout;)

365 {275-304}

I can hardly believe that it has been a month...man, my days are flying by and I barely even spend time on the computer once I get home from work (just doesn't seem fair to the boys these days)!

So a quick 30 day recap:
*Job is super busy.....
*House Projects
*Boys Halloween (Donald Trump and Skeleton)
*QB broke his collarbone so we have been healing...
*Spending lots of time on school work (boys and studying..not so easy)!
*Quiet nights with my hubs snuggled on the coach;)
*I've been taking some photos of friends and family in my spare time...

Here is a 30 day collage recap as well. I am all about killing as many birds as possible so here goes 30!!!

I hope all of you are well...I look forward to catching up on some blogs today!!!
