So, I was with my friend at the bookstore a couple of weeks ago, we were piled high with books on marriage, self esteem and of course stumbled into the parenting section. I just so happened to pick up this book from Dr. Kevin Lehman with a hope that there would be some great tips in there on how to reason with my NOT so small minded 4 year old. Well is it a prescription for success? In my opinion...YES! Obviously principals that we have already heard but twisted in a once again easily readable format for even the most time crunched Moms and Dads.
Here is a little intro into the book, and if you are looking for a little help in this area I suggest you pick it up at a local bookstore!

7 CHEERS from the Crowd!:
After watching that video I am running to my nearest bookstore to get this book. I don't have time to read a huge book on parenting but this sounds like one I could handle. Thanks Tarah.
My dad has this book or gave it to me...I haven't had time to read it, but sure need to. Yikes. I will have to find it.
I heard him on the local radio station. He had a lot of good things to say. My son was in the car at the same time. He said, "Mommy, don't think that's gonna work on me!" I couldn't stop laughing!
Let us know how it goes. I have heard good things about it, but I have never read it myself.
Sounds like I am asking Santa for that book for Christmas! Thanks for sharing :)
Let me know if it works.. By the way love love love the Christmas card. Did I say LOVE?
I great book that I cannot recommend highly enough is "Grace Based Parenting by Tim Kimmel. YOU WILL LOVE IT.
And then there is Raising Respectful Children in a Self Absorbed World. A MUST read.
I am off to check out your recommendation!
God bless-
Amanda
I was looking around your blog to see if you posted any of your scrapbook layouts :) and came across this post. I have had this book on my list of "books I HAVE to get" for months now....I guess this (along with the fact that my kids are revolting) is confirmation that I need to get to the bookstore!
